Dance Praise 2: The Remix Update Instructions

If you using a non-Dance Praise dance pad and experiencing problems controlling the dance pad within Dance Praise 2: the Remix, you will need to download the Dance Praise 2 update. You can download the Dance Praise 2 update file by CLICKING HERE for Windows XP/Vista, by CLICKING HERE for Mac OS X.

Windows XP/Vista

For non-Dance Praise USB based dance pads, please follow the steps below:

Run the dpcd2patch.exe program
Follow the directions in the setup program
The setup program assumes that the game is installed on the C: drive in Program Files. If you installed it elsewhere, you will need to set that new path
Start Dance Praise 2: the Remix the way you normally do
When you get to the Dance Pad Assignment screen, type in the letters DPA to start the pad configuration
For dance pads that do not have the "▲" & "■" buttons, substitute them with the start & select buttons on your dance pad when you assign the buttons in the pad configuration screen
Once you have created a dance pad profile, select the profile with the direction arrows on your keyboard, and press the UP arrow on your dance pad to continue

For non-Dance Praise dance pads that require connection thru an USB adapter, please follow the steps below:

Plug the USB adapter into an open USB port
Plug the PS2 dance pad into the adapter
Step on the Start, Select and Up Arrow buttons on the pad simultaneously and hold for 3 seconds
This will switch the input to dance pad mode. You will need to do this every time before you start the game
Run the dpcd2patch.exe program
Follow the directions in the setup program
